Screeching Weasel famously formed after Ben Weasel saw the Ramones. Well, swap out the Ramones for The Queers (and Ben Weasel for Fraser Murderburger) and you get how Scotland's The Murderburgers formed. The band went on to put out 7 albums as well as lots of singles before going on hiatus in 2019. 

This is a 60 track compilation that includes two full-lengths (2009's "Semi-Erect, Semi-Retarded, Semi-Detached" and 2010's "Burned Out / Worn Out"), alongside split 7" tracks, demos, outtakes, live in-studio recordings, cover versions, and songs recorded at a homecoming gig in Glasgow. It's in chronological order, so if the early stuff doesn't grab you, skip ahead a bit.

If you like Lookout! Records-era bands like the aforementioned Queers or Screeching Weasel then you're likely to find something you'll enjoy here. You're also likely to hear the progress the band made from those early demos through to the songs that close the comp out.

From tomorrow England's stay-at-home order comes to an end, but instead of stopping and then picking this up again the next time I'm in lockdown, the plan is to carry on posting every once in a while.
