Not Rebecca - Rocketship to Canada

Self-described as "a mix of Naked Raygun, Seven Seconds, early Lemonheads, and Hรผsker Dรผ", Not Rebecca were a '90s pop-punk band from Chicago, and this is their final* full-length from 1996.

The guitars of Tom Counihan and Dave Lysien are front and centre and with both also handling vocal duties you're left with a big sound. There's plenty of melodicism and in particular some great harmonies, and a decent amount of variety. Does it sound dated in 2021? Well... a little. It's also not the most cohesive of records, although it's still a lot of fun, and well worth giving a figurative spin.

*Final that is, if you don't count "1988-1992", a collection of unrecorded songs that were eventually laid down in 2002 by the original line-up.
