Well, here we go again, yet another nationwide Lockdown in England, this time for at least the better part of 7 weeks, so this page is back up and running.
And we're starting this one off with some synth-laden Coldwave-inspired New Wave from Barcelona's Ciudad Lineal in the form of their only full-length from 2014.
Recurrent lyrics and unvarying beats lend a somewhat subdued and hypnotic feel to the music, whilst thematically the album looks at the "idea of progress and industry as opposing forces".
It's poignant stuff, and definitely worth checking out if you like your Wave on the Darker side...
