Choosing to post something by Radiator Hospital is a no-brainer, but choosing what to post by this prolific pop act did give me pause for thought - in the end I settled on this, their 2013 effort.
I previously posted about The Afterglows, a side-project duo featuring Radiator Hospital's Sam Cook-Parrott, and a number of the songs here have the same classic, timeless vibe; songs such as "The Great Escape", "Big Cloud", "Your Boyfriend", "Down Again", or the two versions / parts of "Lose Sight of You" for example.
It's pure DIY pop, sometimes noisy, sometimes delicate and poignant, and whilst it's quite possible that subsequent records have been more consistent, this is the one I always come back to.
