This is the 2006 debut full length from Liverpool's Voo and, behind what is possibly one of the dullest album covers of all time, is a record chock full of jangly poppy indie rock nuggets.
Great production, bright and often toe-tap-inducing compositions, not to mention Graham Jones' gorgeous vocals, all add up to a terrifically enjoyable listen.
The band could certainly rock out when they wanted to, and kinda remind me of Beezewax in that the beauty and sheer melody in the quieter moments isn't lost in the more frantic ones.
A stellar pop leaning indie-rock effort.
