This is the second and, to date, last full-length from one of the UK's best Melodic Punk bands (they took a long hiatus, but were back playing live before the pandemic), and it's a bit of a gem.
With gruff-ish vocals, catchy tunes, sing-a-long vibes, plenty of group backing vocals, and (sorry if this sounds patronising, but) genuine northern charm, the album ticks a helluva lot of boxes.
Vocals are more personal than on previous efforts, but are spot on for a record that is more contemplative and intimate.
Yes, we need a new release by The Dauntless Elite, but until then, "Christ on a bike" this one is still a pleasure to revisit.
