𝗘𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁 - 𝗜 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗪𝗲'𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗲 𝗢𝗸

I do like this title given the situation we now find ourselves in... Pop punk with a heap more soul and substance than is often found in the genre, with killer melodies sans saccharine.

 
There's an edge here with both the music and vocals, but it's not the snotty pop punk that many underground / DIY bands fall back on. Instead, Eat Defeat take the balls to the wall approach; rock 'n roll sped up, in your face, powerful riffs and solos, lots of group vocals, and an unmistakable sense that they mean it.

 
This is all done with a melodic sensibility and an apparent love of the genre, and the solid production probably doesn't hurt either. It's refreshing, genuine, robust, and original, within a well-trodden path. The lines are fine, but Eat Defeat expertly walk them.
