Wonk Unit are a prolific, puerile, horse-obsessed, off-kilter punk band from London who have released a bunch of albums and have even spawned their own annual festival, Wonk Fest.
This is their "Best Of" from 2015, and covers material spanning the band's first three full-lengths, and as such serves as a pretty decent intro to the band.
Whilst some of the songs are straight up punk, Wonk Unit do mix it up; you'll find strings on tracks like "Horses" and "Tortured Genius" (with poppy "woohoohoos" on the latter), horns on "Elbows", and irreverant lyrics throughout.
