𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 - 𝗦/𝗧

Back in the late '00s The Leif Ericsson and Great St Louis were two bands at the top of their game, both playing the melodic hardcore reminiscent of Leatherface et al that is just so special.

So when members from both bands formed Stay Clean Jolene, it was personally pretty exciting. I snapped up their debut self-titled (or "3 songs") 7", and after what seemed like a hell of a wait, grabbed their full length as soon as it came out. Granted, there was a pang of disappointment that with the 3 songs from the 7" also being on this record there were only 7 new songs to listen to, but I got over that. As to the record itself, it's sheer British melodic hardcore perfection, with that iconic guitar sound, slightly gruff vocals, memorable tunes, and talented musicianship. And it's highly recommended.
