Negro Galacticus' debut album is a varied affair and a lot of fun.
At its heart it's a funk album, with warmly rapped vocals, and a goofy sense of humour (the shout of "harmonise goddamnit!" in "I'm from the Westside" gets me everytime), but then "Space Fish" is a punk song if ever I heard one.
Album closer "Journey From Andromeda" is worthy of a special mention, bringing as it does everything together into a pretty epic final track. It's good stuff 🙂
