I recently stumbled across this 2020 debut from these Bostonian synth-post-punkers, and I'm already hooked; a toe-tapping new wave sound, with prominent basslines and jangly and angular guitar held together by Lira Mondal's distinctive vocals.
There's a classic or maybe even retro vibe to what's here, and I can't help but agree with the blurb when it states that there's "something simple yet otherworldly about these tracks".
Innovative in a "come full-circle" kind of a way, this is an invigorating and downright fun record, and is definitely on my list for the next Bandcamp Friday.
