Here's a post about ANOTHER Long Island, NY band, but this time they don't sound like Iron Chic! Rather, the final full-length from Fellow Project sounds like a poppier "Do Not Tailgate"-era Fireside with guy/gal vocals.
There's a hard, angular, grungey post-punk edge to the group's somewhat intricate indie-rock/punk, with the dichotomy between the two vocal styles especially effective.
I had thought the band broke up, but it looks like they started playing again at the end of 2019, as Fellow Project and sans-Lou Fontana as Trifles, so it'll be interesting to see what comes of that when things get a little less pandemicky. In the meantime, this is a superb record to get into.
