Indie-punkers Young Attenborough were from Brighton and broke up about 5 years ago. This, their only full length, was put out on the sadly defunct and wonderfully named Cats? Aye! Records.
And it lives up well to its indie-punk billing, with some of the best bits on the record taking the form of quiet indie introspection or moments of frantic wall-of-sound tuneful punk / post-hardcore. Vocal duties are shared out, and can get a little sloppy at times, but the musicianship is tight enough to hold things together.
Melodic, angular, poppy, a little rough around the edges, and certainly varied, this is a fine record.
