Summer Salt was songwriter Emi Night's band before she moved from Colorado to Philadelphia and formed Strawberry Runners.
The sole album under the Summer Salt name is a charming and varied record of dreamy folky pop nuggets, some stripped back to just Emi's delightful vocals and a single guitar or ukulele, while others feature a bigger albeit still pretty "summery" sound.
It's a lovely 'lil record.
