Gorgeous poignant honest folk / folk-punk from singer-songwriter Paul Baribeau (who's also been in stick-shaking load of bands). This is his 2010 (and most recent) album and it's wonderful, featuring 10 delightful stripped back acoustic gems.
The vocals are warm, the lyrics sincere, and the songs catchy and memorable.
I know some folks out there eschew the "one person and their guitar" thing, but if there was one album to bring them into the fold, it could well be this one.
It's just unpretentiously superb.
