A few of my friends have been lamenting the demise of Daft Punk, so I thought this would be an interesting post for today.
Here we have a compilation of original tunes by members of the Daft Club community of Daft Punk fans, inspired by and produced in the style of their idols.
Envisaged as "a speculative 4th Daft Punk album" (this was before the release of 2013's "Random Access Memories"), it was the brainchild of daks, who contributed two tracks. Whether die-hard fans will be able to pretend this is in fact another Daft Punk album isn't for me to say, but it sounds pretty legit and is certainly an interesting concept.
