Minneapolis' Class of 86 play thrashy melodic hardcore, emphasis a bit more on the hardcore, mixed with metal-esque riffs and solos.
It's frantic, fast, and pretty damn accomplished, and should appeal to punks and metal-heads alike. Vocals carry on the theme, with a gruff-punk sound that segues into Hetfield territory from time to time.
This is the band's 2nd full-length from 2014, and has since been followed by an EP and 7" that are also worth checking out, but if you want a proper album of metal/punk fusion then this is the one to dive into.
