This is a reissue of the debut album of revered Italian punks The Miles Apart, complete with 2 bonus tracks, and it rocks as hard as it did twenty years ago.
Singer Lele's melodic vocals sound like they'd be perfect for a saccharine pop-punk act. Instead, they are the focus of the band's chugging indie/hardcore punk; it's a great sound, like a slightly heavier Beautiful Sundays.
This version of the record adds two songs from the band's split 7" with This World is Mine originally released on the legendary Snuffy Smile Records, which is a nice touch.
The band went on to release several other records before breaking up in 2007. They reformed and put out the Almost Light 7" in 2017, which is also linked to below.
