Last year's "Beach Blanket Bummer Pop" was decent, but sure as hell didn't prepare me for how good this, Sarchasm's latest album (just released yesterday) would be.
Varied, often irreverent and quirky, and certainly intelligent, this is really rather superb pop punk / indie, and frankly a cosmic leap from the band's previous release.
Maybe that's why this, their 4th full-length, is the one to be self-titled. Maybe not. Either way, it's all rather impressive, grand in scope, accomplished in its execution, and a record that I'm very much looking forward to delving into more.
