AND WE'RE BACK UP AND RUNNING AGAIN! Here's the first of 14 more posts as my girlfriend is visiting from abroad and as such is self-isolating for two weeks.
And we're starting with this special (or "deluxe") edition of an absolutely superb pop album, with which you get the original album alongside demo versions of each song, with a previously unreleased song being the icing on the cake.
It's intriguing to hear just how polished and developed these demos are, not to mention the elements that were kept and what was added.
John-Allison Weiss' powerful vocals soar over meticulous arrangements of synth and guitar, resulting in an album that is touching, beautiful, and memorable throughout.
This is a classic singer-songwriter pop album, and one that has become a fast favourite. Enjoy.
