Featuring members from Uncommonmenfrommars and No Guts No Glory, French band Not Scientists play super melodic punk sans la saccharine du pop punk. It's catchy and direct, with a distinctive front and centre guitar sound, and punchy vocals.
This record takes their first 7" and first EP (somewhat confusingly both titled "Leave Stickers on our Graves") adds an extra song that you'd think was the title track of their subsequent debut proper full-length, but isn't, to form a 10 track album that, naming oddities aside, really works.
Granted, it kinda peters out by the time you hit what were originally the 7" b-sides, but if you've enjoyed yourself up to this point you're unlikely to care, and the album finishes strongly with the aforementioned bonus track.
Not Scientists are a damn fine band, and this is a great introduction to them.
