Modern Delusion are from Croatia, and play an interesting and quite original mix of new wave / synth and punk.
An old school punk attitude is definitely present, especially in the short sharp shouts in the backing vocals, and the prominent bass lines that drive the music forward, but there's also a gloominess and melancholy to this synth-laden collection of 4-track tunes, the production of which adds to their atmospheric nature.
It's a potent combination, and certainly worth checking out if synth punk or new wave appeal.
