So, I'm on their bandcamp page and some dude there called Michael Reilly basically described this album so well, I'm just gonna quote him and phone this one in...

Describing it as "Well crafted and highly emotional instrumental post-rock", he goes on to say that the band "produce a sound that is both relaxed and distinctly energised, intelligently written and composed, and performed with considerable style". Which is basically what I was gonna say... Post-rock can be dull, uninspired, formulaic, and (especially if it's instrumental) pretentious, but this is post-rock of the highest calibre.
