Gorgeous acoustic folk, that intricately builds into big choruses and to grandiose resolutions.
I could imagine fans of groups like Mumford and Sons would feel quite at home here. What sets The Oh Hellos apart though is the dual vocals, which are shared out between lead and backing duties, and really determine the tone and feel of each song.
This is their debut full length from 2012, and whilst they have released other records since (including quite a charming Christmas EP featuring medleys of traditional carols), this is the album I always return to.
